"It wasn't the plan when my honey left me. I wasn't ready and neither was he. My BFF, soulmate, husband and friend Left me broke and alone in the end."
Ken was a beloved grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend. We celebrated Ken's life on Saturday, April 18th here in McHenry at our home - my home. Cars lined the streets as friends and family came from near and far to pay their respects. We found some great photos, as you can see. Thank you ALL so very much!

Ken's Final Event
Ken had a massive coronary arrest in the Chicago train station on Saturday April 11th. He'd gone to take his business associate from India site seeing.
It seemed a blessing later that I was not with him when it occurred, for it might have been even harder for me. As it happened we were on our cell phones discussing our evening plans when he collapsed.
The EMT's got there quick. They and doctors at NW Memorial Hospital tried everything they could to bring him back to us, but failed.
"He was loved by many, especially me. I will miss him constantly."

Ken the Golfer
This is one of my favorite "recent" photos of Ken. Spring thru fall he spent hours chipping golf balls in our yard from one bush to another. He "lost" so many (Dad helped), that I found dozens of practice golf balls in the gardens and bushes this spring.
Cody, our eldest grandchild, misses practicing baseball and football in the yard with Grandpa Ken. "Now he is learning to golf when he's not pitching to his dad or me. We have plenty of practice golf balls, you see."
