Jenna Turned 6 and Caitlin Turned 5 a Month Later

Jenna started kindergarden this fall. She turned 6 in September. She is SO grown up. Caitlin is too, but she's till my baby.

We all love "sleepovers" and have them whenever we can. Both girls LOVE to play on the "computer" on these kids safe websites when they are here. They each get their own PC to use in my office. (Caitlin gets the old PC).

Their October Birthday Party pictures and new Dance Class photos are included in the gallery below.

This is Trixie getting her haircut. She is a Shipoo - part poodle and shitzu. Trixie's hair grows about an inch a month and she needs regular grooming. I finally took over the job as you can see. Trixie loves it and we are great friends. Even tho she takes off after racoons at midnight, she makes sure Dad gets home from his walks.

It has been a busy year here. I am home catching up on gardening and website work. The gardens look much better and the website projects are never done.

I just finished another reunion website. My old PC game website, CoolGamePlace.com has regular visitors worldwide (who play free games and rarely buy anything). I have some regular traffic now to my furniture website. Those articles and keywords really worked and I am ranked on the first page of Google for "inexpensive decorating ideas". I bought www.InexpensiveDecoratingIdeas.com and am redesigning and converting it now. I am changing everything so it'll take me awhile.

Green Forest Websites is another new project, but it is basically done. Marketing recommendation was made to have a business name on our websites that isn't tied to our own name. We live on the corner of Forest and Green streets, you know, so...

My latest favorite website project tho is my new gardening website - TheSunflowerLady.com. I think sunflowers are really cool, and we had a great bunch this summer. Mine "spoke to me" and told me to start a garden website. I found "sunflowerlady.com" and even sunflower.com is nothing right now. I found a reference to a "Sunflower Lady" in Maine actually inspiring her townfolk to plant sunflowers all over their town. How cool. Maybe there is room for more sunflower ladies around. Ladies like me can inspire more interest in growing and enjoying sunflowers everywhere!

I really do love my gardening. Is it a Bell-thing? Well, the sisters all loved it. I know Mom and Ginger did. Betty and Ruth too, right? It might have skipped a few of you cousins, but I get a kick out of playing in the dirt and watching stuff grow.

People everywhere like gardening information and photographs online too. Google makes it all easy to find. I will have fun adding articles about my favorite hobby. Next season I will add lots more flower photos too.

Ken's summer assignment ended recently and he is home now too. He finished cleaning the basement. It flooded when the power went out during a rainstorm in July. It was a wet summer here in northern Illinois. There were 3 inches of water when the power went back on for the sump pumps. Then we wet-vac'd over 20 gallons from puddles and wet rugs. Ick!

My constant companion indoors is Rose. She "owns" our bedroom and hisses at Tulip, the brat. Tulip is "the basement cat" now. Ken feeds her downstairs and she has become our fat cat, while Rose has thinned out nicely.

You know I enjoy posting pictures of my family. Our four grandchildren are the delights of our lives and we are fortunate they all live nearby.

I didn't get a good picture of Cody at his night baseball game last weekend, but here is Jessica under the lights. (We still call her Belle.)

The Gallery below has recent pictures including recent family visits and Jenna and Caitlin's Birthday Party in October. Jenna turned 6 and is in kindergarden. Caitlin turns 5 in October. We begin with Jenna and Caitlin here during a summer sleepover. The photo of Me and Mine Together is me, Julie, Dan, and Rob at the girls party.
