John's Family Newspage

In December Nell sang and danced LIVE ON STAGE in Toronto! Tickets were sold out, and you can see the "Prancers and Vixens" show promo here with a shot of Nell.

Brother John (Dan) has always fought for "causes". He is lucky to be working in an environment where causes are the name of the game.

Dan is proud to be in the business he is in. Not everyone can say that.

This video says it all. I wanted to share it with you.

You will see John about half way through.

John visited last October. We are happy that Julie came too. She and Ken giggle over John and I trying to solve the world's problems.

Our dad lives here with Ken and I, as most of you know. He was happy to see John again.

Julie's "mum", Merle, has hearing and vision problems in addition to memory problems. Julie faithfully brings "Mum" home nearly every Saturday to stay the weekend. Merle is a sweet, happy lady and was very sociable. She's enjoyed the friends she's made at the "center" she moved into about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, her poor eyesight and hearing make it difficult for her to participate in the "fun". She still enjoys her family AND her grandkids tho.

Jane and Nell can't get away to visit us this year. We will (do) miss seeing them. They are always cheerful and entertaining.

Jane and Edo live in Toronto where Jane is teaching yoga and Edo works as a waiter and plays and sings in clubs. Of course, Jane married a musician!

Nell is back in school doing a post-graduate program to become a primary school teacher. She was a volunteer teacher in her old school last year, which helped her get accepted for this hard-to-get-into program. Congratulations, Nell!

Nell's "sweetie" is Jordan. John and Julie really like him too. They met during Nell's fourth year of university. Jordan is finishing his last year majoring in software engineering. He's also a musician and John says we should hear Nell sing "Let's Give 'Em Something to Talk About" with Jordan accompanying her on guitar.

Here is a group of photos John sent this year, both recently and awhile ago. They are fairly current and catch us up since I published his trip to Israel last year on the Old MuellerWebsite.

The final pictures were added after their visit to McHenry. John and Julie went into Chicago and walked to Shedd Aquarium from the train station. The morning they left, Julie took the last photo. Wish we'd done that when I had makeup and a do. Well, Dad and John look the same.
