Jane welcomes you to her Website and wishes you all "Hola!" She's chosen some of her favorite photos to share in this mini-story of her life (the part she tell's her family, anyway).
She reads her e-mail regularly and would enjoy hearing from you in her e-mailbox, esp. since most of her messages lately are about schoolwork. Her e-address is herweeness@hotmail.com. She visits "the states" to see her dad's family most every summer. Her Uncle Ken (UK) nicknamed her Holla Hane back when she was just a kid. Jane is 7 in this Grade 2 school picture. All through school, she wore her hair long and straight. |

Jane always loved to make up little stories with songs and dances and perform them for the family. She'd provide parts for anyone who'd play along, with Jane as the director and choreographer, of course. Here is a pose from one performance Jane and little sister, Nell, did for us. It was wonderful! |
| Here is Jane at twelve with Nell, about 8. |
|
| Jane attended many dance and music classes and continued to study and perform throughout her school years. During senior high, she and several friends formed the "Sisters Dance Collective" and they performed several shows for fun and credit. The girls are still very close friends today. |

Jane fulfilled one of her dreams early in life. After finishing high school she spent a year getting some rich life experiences before going to "University". First she hiked and hitched (with friends) to the B.C. (western Canada) and worked on a cherry ranch during picking season. She slept in tents and explored a little of the West before returning to Toronto 2 months later.
Dan ("Daad") took this photo when Jane had just returned home. Nell sure missed her, and Wow, does someone look TAN! |
|
| She planned her second trip with friend Mary Beth and they headed to Costa Rica for the spring. Yes, that's a monkey on her head! There's more pics and stories - check out Jane's Adventure to Central America from her 1999 trip. |
| In May 2000 Jane's Grandpa Marv from Florida visited with Aunt Karen (me) from Illinois. It was a beautiful warm day in Toronto and the first time Jane had seen us in a few years. |
|
| Here's Jane with her dad. He is very proud of his eldest daughter, now a grown-up young adult. He has videos and pictures of most of her special events and performances since day one. We will try to post some of Jane's favorites here on her Website soon. |
| Jane's first apartment was in the city where she could bike to work and classes. She decorated with "minimalist" style of youth-on-a-budget and it's kinda classy - a water "kinda", fish "kinda" theme. |

| Her mom smiles while holding up these decorations contributed by Jane's roommates. Jane has yet (if ever) to hang them. Her decoration theme was underwater-related, but these may be a bit too much.... |
| This is Corin, Jane's "really" good friend. Jane's too busy with schoolwork to be serious right now. |
